Stage productions: During the 2017-18 fiscal year, the WGO produced operas, galas, and presented ballet, reaching a total audience of over 10,000. As Kansas' only professional opera company, the WGO performs in several locations around the state each year, in addition to performances at the company's home theater, Century II. WGO's new productions of Puccini's Madama Butterfly, Verdi's La Traviata, and Prokofiev's Cinderella involved internationally-renowned stars plus WGO's young artists, chorus, children's chorus, orchestra, and crew. The gala performances featured WGO artists and guest appearances.
