Each year, the charities selection committee of the Rotary Club of Clearwater selects worthy local and Rotary International causes to support. Charitable funds are raised through club fundraisers such as the annual kingfish tournament, the golf tournament, and other events. In addition to supporting charities financially, the Rotary Club of Clearwater and their members support numerous charities with the gift of their time and involvement in the community. (Continued on schedule O) The Rotary Club of Clearwater is proud to have supported the following local charities as recipients of our annual charity grants for 2019: the Dictionary Project, RCS, Reading is Fundamental, Center for Cyber Safety and Education, Clearwater Free Clinic, Clearwater Jazz Holiday Foundation, Eckerd Youth Alternatives, Homeless Emergency Project, My Hope Chest, St. Petersburg College Foundation, Girls on the Run Tampa Bay, Clearwater Historical Society, Gulf Coast Dance Theater, Rotary Camp Florida and Rotary Foundation.
