Jobs for Delaware Graduates Inc (JDG) is a drop-out prevention and school-to-work transition program for highly at-risk youth. Selected students attend JDG classes throughout their high school career. JDG specialists teach students the 'soft skills' necessary to become a productive citizen and successful employee. Students are provided follow-up services for one year after exiting the JDG program.

To teach high school students the necessary employability soft skills and life skills to successfully pursue their career path through entry-level employment and/or college or advanced training. Approximately 2,684 high school students were served in the classroom and through follow-up during the year ended 6/30/19. 62.5% of the 309 June 2019 graduates had entered employment, the military and/or college/advanced training by September 30, 2019. The middle school program focuses on preparing students to more easily transition to high school. 1,491 students in grades 6, 7, 8 and 9 were served by 6/30/19. The classroom centered on leadership and self-development, study skills and academics through experiential learning. Over 766 of the youth participated in community volunteer activities and service learning projects.
