DCH WORKS AT THE GRASSROOTS LEVEL TO ADDRESS SOCIAL, ECONOMIC, EDUCATIONAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES, AND HELP TO CREATE HEALTHY AND SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITIES. DCH PROJECTS INCLUDE COMMUNITY GARDENS, CONTAINER PLANTINGS, INSTITUTIONAL GARDENS, SCHOOL GARDENS AND URBAN FARMS.TREE PROGRAM - THE DCH PARTNERS WITH LOCAL, STATE, AND FEDERAL ORGANIZATIONS TO PROMOTE THE MANY BENEFITS OF URBAN TREES AND ENCOURAGES ACTIVE COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN CITY TREE CARE.
