OUR STAFF IS BOARD-CERTIFIED OR BOARD ELIGIBLE AND GROWING, AND WE PRIDE OURSELVES IN WORKING WITH AREA PROVIDERS TO MAXIMIZE HEALTHCARE OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE PEOPLE OF THIS REGION.ONE OF MOUNT NITTANY HEALTH SYSTEM'S MAJOR GOALS IN FORMING THE MNMC HEALTH SERVICES INC. WAS TO PROVIDE QUALITY CARE AT CONVENIENT LOCATIONS IN CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA - NOT JUST PRIMARY CARE, BUT CARE IN MORE THAN 20 ADVANCED SPECIALTY AREAS.CHARGES FOR SERVICES PROVIDED WERE COMPRISED OF:- 38.9% MEDICARE- 7.8% MEDICAID- 2.1% SELF-PAY - 51.3% OTHERMNMC HEALTH SERVICES PROVIDES PHYSICIAN HEALTH CARE SERVICES FOR RESIDENTS OF ITS PRIMARY SERVICE AREA, WHICH INCLUDES STATE COLLEGE AND SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES. CHARITY CARE WAS $169,650 FOR FYE 2019.OUR RHEUMATOLOGIST TERMINATED ON 2/2/19; WE STOPPED PROVIDING RHEUMATOLOGY SERVICES FOR THE REMAINDER OF FY19.WE PURCHASED THE MSO PRACTICE ON 1/1/19 AND PROVIDED ORTHOPEDIC SERVICES FOR THE SECOND HALF OF FY19.
