The Center for New Beginnings (CFNB) is a non-profit center serving children and adolescents with special needs (behavioral, educational, emotional, intellectual, physical), as well as their families and caregivers in the rural counties south of Augusta (Burke, Jenkins, Screven, Emmanuel, Jefferson, Richmond and Columbia). It is our mission to offer healing and hope to families in need through the provision of resources, services, and support to meet the challenges they are facing.

The organization serves a wide spectrum of clients from general academic related problems to specific disorders such as, but not limited to: autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, emotional/behavioral disorders, learning disabilities, academic delays. Currently children from Burke and five surrounding counties are served. Monthly services are provided to more than 150 children and adolescents, as well as their families and community service providers. For the year ended December 31, 2018 the following programs and services were offered: direct community services, shadowing and consultative for inclusive community programs, trainings and consultative services, school-based services.
