AYUDA OFFERED LEGAL ADVICE AND REPRESENTATION TO FOREIGN-BORN PERSONS IN IMMIGRATION CASES, WHICH INCLUDE VISAS FOR VICTIMS OF CRIME AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING, POLITICAL ASYLUM, CITIZENSHIP, AND FAMILY REUNIFICATION. AYUDA ALSO PROVIDED DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND FAMILY LAW REPRESENTATION TO VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE IN CIVIL PROTECTION ORDER, CUSTODY, CHILD SUPPORT AND DIVORCE PROCEEDINGS. ADDITIONALLY, AYUDA PROVIDED LEGAL ADVICE AND REPRESENTATION TO VICTIMS OF NOTARIO OR IMMIGRATION CONSULTANT FRAUD. AYUDA'S SOCIAL SERVICES PROGRAM PROVIDED CASE MANAGEMENT, INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP COUNSELING, SUPPORT AND ASSISTANCE IN SECURING FOOD AND SHELTER TO IMMIGRANT VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, SEXUAL ASSAULT, HUMAN TRAFFICKING AND OTHER CRIMES. AYUDA ALSO OFFERED INTERPRETATION AND TRANSLATION SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE LIMITED-ENGLISH PROFICIENT, AND DEAF OR HARD OF HEARING. AYUDA'S PRIMARY INTERPRETATION/TRANSLATION PROJECTS PROVIDE INTERPRETATION SERVICES FOR IMMIGRANTS SEEKING LEGAL REPRESENTATION AND IMMIGRANT VICTIMS OF CRIME WHO ARE SEEKING VICTIM SERVICES. AYUDA OFFERED OUTREACH AND TRAINING TO THE COMMUNITY, SERVICE PROVIDERS AND OTHER PARTNERS THROUGHOUT THE D.C. METROPOLITAN AREA.
