The mission of Imagination Stage is empower young people to discover their voice and identify through performing arts education and professional theatre. ISI was founded in 1979 with a handful of children in a single room. Today we serve over 100,000 children and their families each year. ISI produces innovative professional family theatre with the area's finest theatre artists, and offers classes in acting, music, dance, and video production for children and teens. Diversity and inclusion are core beliefs driving both the professional theatre and education components of ISI. We respect all talent, value all artistry, and welcome all children.
