The foundation's largest program service, operating and maintaining the memorial education center, creates an environment and programs that engage and educate the public about the contributions of military women to our country and welcomes visitors throughout America and the world who come to the memorial for a variety of reasons. During 2019 the memorial welcomed more than 100,100 visitors as well as 100 honor flights; hosted 60 promotions, 10 reenlistments, 5 commissionings, 65 retirements, 60 memorial receptions, 130 events, conferences and seminars with other agencies and groups; conducted 49 tours and received 430 school group visits; presented major memorial and Veterans Day events.
