Bright Prospect empowers high potential, low-income students to gain admission to, persist in and graduate from four-year colleges and universities by providing a comprehensive counseling and support system throughout their high school and college years.
About
Bright Prospect recruits any student who wants to join at the end of the 9th grade, guiding them toward college. We then continue to advise and support our students until they graduate from college. During fiscal year 2019, Bright Prospect served 2,705 students, 1,489 high school students and 1,216 college students. 120 Bright Prospect students graduated from college in fiscal year 2019 and our overall college graduation rate was 87%. We also trained three organizations in other communities to implement our successful crews model: Bright Futures in Park City, Utah; Catalyst to College in Santa Clara, California; and Future Grads; Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula in Menlo Park, California.
