The William & Mary Foundation advances William & Mary’s highest aspirations by securing private support, guiding a multi-asset investment portfolio and offering strategic leadership to propel the university toward national preeminence.[2] It is organized and operated exclusively for charitable, scientific, and educational purposes under section 501(c)(3), including receiving, managing, investing, and administering private gifts and property and making expenditures to or for the benefit of the university.[2]
