Charlottesville Waldorf School mission statement approved by the College of Teachers, June 18, 2010. The Charlottesville Waldorf School offers a curriculum rich in academic, artistic, practical, and physical activities in an inclusive and diverse environment. Our educational philosophy, based on Rudolf Steiner's understanding of child development, cultivates the imagination, intellectual curiosity and social responsibility of our students.

Charlottesville Waldorf School operates a school with a licensed day care for grades nursery through 8. During the year, tuition assistance was provided to over 100 students.
