Highland Partners facilitated 287 volunteers from university and church groups who worked in native communities in Guatemala and the White Mountain Apache Reservation in Arizona. A community-led infrastructure program constructed 151 stoves that eliminate internal air pollution, a major health issue for developing world women and children. The program also built one computer lab, four school kitchens, and a retention wall for a community soccer field.
