Mission
Food for Others mission is to distribute food to our neighbors in need by mobilizing our giving community and volunteers.
About
Food for Others distributed 1.9 million pounds of free food to families and organizations to help alleviate food insecurity in Northern Virginia. Individual households were provided food on 96,490 occasions throughout the year serving on average 1,855 households per week. Food for Others also provides weekend food to low-income elementary students. In FY19, 1,897 children were served weekly at 30 schools, a total of 70,179 'power packs'.
