More about this organization

Mission

To support Airmen and enhance the Air Force mission by helping Airmen and their families with proactive financial programs.

About

Emergency assistance (EA) - The EA program is the top priority for the society as it aims to relieve the financial pressures on airmen and their families by assisting with immediate needs in an emergency. Support is provided through no-interest loans and grants, depending on each individual circumstance. EA is provided for basic living expenses, emergency travel, vehicle repairs, funeral costs, and other emergencies. Air Force families can also receive support developing a family budget. In 2018, $6.5 million in stabilizing grants were provided to 5,000 airmen affected by Hurricane Michael in Florida. An additional $6.2 million in no-interest loans and $1.2 million in grants were paid out in support of Air Force families in 2018.
