We can’t do everything, but we’ll do anything! Foundation for Peace works hand in hand on health, education and community initiatives in the Dominican Republic, Haiti and Kenya. Our flexible partnership approach lets us say “yes” to communities’ greatest needs, leading to new opportunities and lasting relationships.

MISSION TRIP PROGRAMSOBJECTIVE: OUR MISSION TEAMS TO PUT IN ACTION OUR MISSION STATEMENT - WORKING HAND IN HAND WITH PEOPLE IN MATERIALLY IMPOVERISHED AREAS TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT, HEALTHCARE ACCESS, ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY AND HOPE. OUR NON-MEDICAL TEAMS PARTICIPATED IN MULTI-FACETED PROGRAMS THAT USUALLY INCLUDED A CONSTRUCTION PROJECT, MEDICAL CARE AND EDUCATION PROGRAMS.ACCOMPLISHMENTS:HAITI:WE CONTINUED WORKING WITH PEOPLE IN THE GANTHIER PROVINCE. TOGETHER WE ACCOMPLISHED THE FOLLOWING:-BROUGHT HOPE TO HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE, BY STRENGTHENING EXISTING RELATIONSHIPS AND BUILDING NEW ONES-CONTINUED THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE LA MISSION EVANGELIQUE SANCTUAIRE DE LA GRACE CHURCH IN KWA KOK-PROVIDED EDUCATION AND MEDICAL CARE TO 4 COMMUNITIES-PROVIDED MEALS IN REMOTE VILLAGES TO 200 FAMILIES-EXPANDED THE MEN NANA MEN CURRICULUM TO INCLUDE CLASSES IN SEWING, TILING, ELECTRICAL TRAINING AND COOKING.-WORKED WITH MOBILITY WORLDWIDE TO DISTRIBUTE 30 PET CARTS-INCREASED OUR LEADERSHIP ROLE AND INVESTMENT IN THE ORPHANS AT CAD BY PAYING SALARIES FOR ALL STAFF, PROVIDING WELL-ROUNDED MEALS AND ELECTRICITYKENYA:OUR TEAM CONTINUED WORKING HAND IN HAND WITH OUR KENYAN PARTNERS IN THE MATHARE NORTH SLUM. TOGETHER WE ACCOMPLISHED THE FOLLOWING:-BROUGHT HOPE TO HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE, BY STRENGTHENING EXISTING RELATIONSHIPS AND BUILDING NEW ONES-CONDUCTED AN ALL-DAY CONFERENCE ON HEALTH AND DISEASE PREVENTION FOR COMMUNITY MEMBERS IN MATHARE NORTH-COMPLETED THE ROOF AND CONTINUED CONSTRUCTION OF THE SECOND STORY ON THE MATHARE NORTH CHURCH -PRESENTED EDUCATION PROGRAMS FOR 500 CHILDREN-PROVIDED MEDICAL CARE & FOOD FOR 800 PEOPLE IN THE MATHARE NORTH SLUM-PROVIDED TRAINING AND ENCOURAGEMENT FOR 12 HIV/AIDS CARE GIVERS-VISITED AND CARED FOR 33 FAMILIES WITH HIV/AIDS IN NAIROBI SLUMSDOMINICAN REPUBLIC:THE MAJORITY OF OUR VOLUNTEERS WORKED HERE. TOGETHER WE ACCOMPLISHED THE FOLLOWING:-BROUGHT HOPE TO TENS OF THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE, BY STRENGTHENING EXISTING RELATIONSHIPS AND BUILDING NEW ONES-CONTINUED OR INITIATED CONSTRUCTION IN MULTIPLE SITES INCLUDING CHURCHES, SCHOOLS, COMMUNITY CENTERS, AND LATRINES-CONTINUED SUPPORT OR MEDICAL AND FINANCIAL NEEDS AT CASA DE LUZ, A HOME FOR PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY HANDICAPPED CHILDREN-PROVIDED MEDICAL CARE AND HEALTH EDUCATION FOR MORE THAN 15,000 PEOPLE- PRESENTED EDUCATION PROGRAMS FOR THOUSANDS OF CHILDREN
