Mission
The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Chaffee County is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
About
Our mission is accomplished by offering programs in five core areas. They are: character and leadership development, education and career development, health and life skills, the arts, and sports-fitness-recreation. The organization services over 700 children and youth annually throughout Chaffee County in facilities that are kid friendly, and designed and operated exclusively for youth of all backgrounds. We operate facilities in Salida and Buena Vista that host over 130 kids per day in a safe and secure environment providing the kind of programs that prepare the youth of today to become the leaders of tomorrow. Our doors are open five days a week Monday through Friday all year.
