Mission

To Respond To The Growing Need In Our Community By Providing Immediate Assistance To Residents Of Concord, Kannapolis, And Cabarrus County, Nc Who Are Experiencing Crisis In The Areas Of Food, Shelter Or Finances While Providing Them Access To Resources That Will Empower Them To Move Beyond Crisis.

About

Food Assistance: CCM recognizes that poor nutrition affects cognitive development in young children and academic performance in adolescents. Food insecurity creates stress in the home that distracts families from activities that would otherwise improve health and household stability. CCMs network of food pantries provide access to nutritious food within 15 minutes of all Cabarrus County residents. This network, combined with a series of mobile food pantries, distributed groceries to 38,708 people this year (including 15,244 children), allowing over $1 million of household income to be spent on other priority needs. Our evening meal program also served 7,484 prepared meals to men, women, and children in need of food and financial relief.
