The members of the association are private/independent high schools in Virginia. It coordinates, sanctions, governs, etc. boys and girls high school interscholastic athletics. The association conducted leagues and state playoffs for baseball, basketball, cross-country, field hockey, golf, football, golf, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming/diving, tennis, track, volleyball and wrestling.
