Mission

The Augusta Players has been serving the Augusta and the surrounding counties since 1945. We are an award-winning non-profit theatre and educational organization dedicated to presenting the highest quality educational and theatrical programming. Our mission is to contribute to the social capital of the community by developing the skills, community spirit, and artistic sensibilities of all who participate. Central to our focus is creating an environment that attracts, excites and impacts diverse participants and audience members. Through programming for children and youth on the autism spectrum, as well as mainstage broadway productions and community outreach, and in cooperation with our partners, we exist to enrich the cultural lives of our populace and guests of the city we call home.
