First Baptist Church has had a vital ministry to this community for many years and it is our prayer that we will look to the future with great excitement to what God desires to do at First Baptist. Words like building, temple, body, family, and household are used in the New Testament to describe what it means to be a part of God’s church. We believe every member of this family we call First Baptist Church has been gifted by God with spiritual gifts for the purpose of ministry. We are a large family, a diverse family, a gifted family, and a living family. The church is not a building of bricks and mortar, but rather a dynamic fellowship of loving relationships.
