CHILDCARE - PROVIDING AFTER SCHOOL CARE AT COUNTY, CITY, AND PRIVATE SCHOOLS AS WELL AS PROVIDING DAYCARE DURING THE SUMMER AND HOLIDAY TIMES. THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES SAFETY FOR POTENTIAL LATCH KEY KIDS WHOSE PARENTS OR CAREGIVERS WORK DURING, BEFORE , OR AFTER SCHOOL HOURS. WE KEEP STUDENTS SAFE IN A NURTURING , ACTIVE AND ENGAGED ENVIRONMENT THAT OTHER WISE MIGHT NOT BE AVAILABLE TO SOME IN THE COMMUNITY. AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS AID SUPERVISING THE CHILDREN AS WELL AS HOME WORK ASSISTANCE WE STRIVE TO NOURISH THE PHYSICAL, INTELLECTUAL, EMOTIONAL AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT OF EVERY CHILD WE SERVE BY PROVIDING WELL-ROUNDED, FUN, CREATIVE AND ENRICHING PROGRAMS AND EXPERIENCES. IN 2018 WE SERVED 1002 SCHOOL AGE CHILDREN, AND PROVIDED MORE THAN $70,000 IN SCHOLARSHIPS TO ENABLE OVER 75 CHILDREN THE NECESSARY SUBSIDIES TO PARTICIPATE IN OUR PROGRAM. IN ADDITION, WE OFFER SUMMER DAY CAMP AND HOLIDAY CAMP PROGRAMS THAT HELP KIDS BUILD STRONG VALUES AND CREATE SELF-CONFIDENCE AND CHARACTER. WITH ACTIVITIES SUCH AS SWIMMING, GROUP ACTIVITIES, FIELD TRIPS, ART PROJECTS, WE CAN HELP NURTURE WELL ROUNDED INDIVIDUALS. DURING 2018 WE PROVIDED SUMMER DAY CAMP AND HOLIDAY CAMP PROGRAMS TO 468 CAMPERS. WE PROVIDED MORE THAN $35,000 IN SCHOLARSHIPS THAT ENABLED 66 CHILDREN TO PARTICIPATE IN OUR SUMMER AND HOLIDAY CAMP PROGRAMS.
