Mission
The Make-A-Wish Foundation of East Tennessee was founded in 1988 as a chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America. We serve 36 counties in East Tennessee, which includes the Chattanooga, Knoxville, and Tri-Cities areas. We are a separate 501(c)3 corporation that grants the wishes of children in the East Tennessee area that are battling a critical illness. We believe doctors provide the medicine and we provide the magic that renews their young spirits. We provide hope, strength, and joy. Many of our children go on to live healthy and happy lives. There is nothing like the power of a wish.
