Delivering quality health services to the underserved region of sub-Saharan Africa, MCWA engages people in our target outreach group and a host of many others people groups. Clinic, inpatient, diagnostic and surgical services at Meskine Hospital are offered for residents of Cameroon as well as neighboring countries. In 2019, a total of 36,015 patients were treated in the outpatient clinic and 4,741 inpatient admissions were treated in the hospital wards. The hospital provides both free critical medical care as well as services for fees, based upon ability to pay. Program expenses include salaries, medical supplies and medications. There were no short-term volunteers sent to Cameroon in 2019 due to continued unstable security from imminent terrorism threats.
