The Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum preserves for all Americans, the stories of courage, character, and patriotism embodied by the men and women of the 8th Air Force from WW II to the present. The museum treasures and uses its unique collections and resources to teach values to the Nation's future generations.

About

The mission of the National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force is to preserve and present the rich history of the Eighth Air Force so that present and future generations gain an understanding and appreciation of the courage, commitment and sacrifice of these airmen. The museum fulfills this mission through exhibitions, education programs for adults, families and school children; and through historial research and publications. The museum welcomed over 49,000 visitors in 2018 as well as over 15,000 student and camp visitors in its educational programs.
