Financial assistance (with rent/mortgage, utilities, medical expenses, fuel, emergency shelter, education, furniture, & clothing) to low to moderate income families. Assisted with approximately 8,307 episodes of food assistance to people for the year which included - food boxes to families without food. Each box contains approximately one weeks worth of food. Also provided emergency food. In 2006, began feeding lunches to children during school breaks-program called Fish4Kids. The food is both purchased & donated. Served approximately 2,256 children. Fish runs a thrift store which provides low-cost or free items to low to moderate income families. We serve an average of 278 people per month. Items are donated.
