Sprint program: The sprint program is made up of four levels of paddling. The young athletes start in developmental and proceed through intermediate training to high performance. The fourth level is for masters paddlers. All athletes are eligible to compete in local and national competitions. High performance athletes also compete in international events with competing at the Olympics as a goal. During 2017, approximately 75 athletes trained at LCKC with some traveling. In 2018, LCKC traveled to Oklahoma City, OK for the 2018 ACA sprint national championships. LCKC came in second place. LCKC continues to host regattas at the Lake Lanier Olympic Venue.
