Mission

Sheltering animals in times of need, locating life-long homes, and advocating for responsible pet ownership. Humane Society Naples believes everyone should have the opportunity to experience animal companionship. To make sure no one in our community lacks access to resources, HSN is committed to creating and maintaining a diverse, inclusive, and culturally compassionate team that advocates for animals and people in all areas of our community.

About

Humane Society Naples serves thousands of animals in the community each year through our sheltering, fostering and adoptions programs as well as with medical care through the Humane Society Naples Veterinary Clinic and the Patty and Jay Baker Mobile Veterinary Clinic. We also help families with crisis boarding and behavioral training services as well as a community pet food pantry. HSN also provides numerous outreach programs at schools and businesses to promote responsible pet ownership, including pet sterilization. We believe spaying and neutering are the best ways to reduce pet overpopulation. Our HSN Veterinary Clinic offers low or no-cost pet sterilization for pet parents who need this. Additionally, every pet who is adopted at HSN is spayed or neutered. Since opening, our organization has adopted over 110,000 animals into loving homes. HSN partners with animal control agencies in our service area and reviews monthly statistics to determine how we can work collaboratively to continue to reduce unnecessary euthanasia of adoptable pets in SWFL.
