Mission

HDC was established in 1978 and is licensed by the Department of Children and Families and accredited by C.A.R.F. HDC has an average of 50 people in its residency programs, which range from closely supervised group homes to supported independent living within the community. The student's accomplishments are due largely to HDC's adherence to the principles of behavior analysis. Students ascend levels of independence as they learn valuable life skills and self-discipline. Behavior programs are geared specifically toward each individual. Currently, HDC has an approximately 77% success rate in moving students toward more independent living environments.
