Love A Child Inc is a Christian nonprofit organization founded in 1985 to demonstrate the love of Christ by meeting the physical and spiritual needs of the poor, particularly in Haiti and other third world countries, through disaster and hunger relief, children's development, community medical outreach, and sustainability programs.
About
Love a Child operates a 21,500 square ft. orphanage in Fond Parisien, recognized by the health and education department of Haiti as #1 in Haiti. Orphanage and medical outreach: In 2019, we accomplished the following achievements: - more than 52,800 patients treated in our medical programs, including our Jesus Healing Center, malnutrition center, and the new birthing center. - conducted a mobile medical clinic in the remote mountain village of Peyi Pouri, treating more than 6,500 patients. - dedicated and began operations of the new birthing center. - built one new orphanage to replace an existing one to relocate from the dangerous area of Logne, Haiti - added three new children at the orphanage.
