Provision of high quality emergency care services in support of Orlando Health - Health Central Hospital.

About

Form 990, Part III - Program Service, Line 4a West Orange Healthcare, Inc.'s mission is to provide extensive quality emergency care services within the emergency room at Orlando Health - Health Central Hospital in support of the promotion of health and well-being in the surrounding communities of Central Florida. Emergency care services provided for 72,827 ER visits during the fiscal year 2019. Emergency fast track: to better serve the needs of our patients, we have created the emergency fast track, which is the after-hour alternative for non-life threatening situations. The emergency fast track has been successful in decreasing response and wait times for those visits with less serious health situations. The emergency fast track is capable of providing services including blood work, x-rays, stitches and bandages or splints. West Orange Healthcare, Inc. (WOH), no longer employs emergency physicians to run the emergency department at Orlando Health Central, Inc. (OHC), the sole member of WOH. These services are now outsourced to a subcontracted group of ER physicians which handles all of its own physician billing and collects and records revenue associated with the physician billing. WOH still charges their side of the ER revenue, but that revenue is recorded under OHC.
