Build artificial reefs in the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Mexico Beach, FL. Provide research on artificial reefs and marine biomass. Educate the public on the benefits of artificial reefs to marine life environment and the local economy. Help the local area recover from disasters.

Artificial Reef Building: Provided funds to the City of Mexico Beach used as matching funds for an artificial reef grant from the State. MBARA helped fund, and oversaw, the deployment of 57 structures artificial reef structures in 22 locations.
