IN THE FISCAL YEAR ENDED MAY 31, 2019, OH AND OHMCH HAD TOTAL ADMISSIONS OF 17,221, PATIENT DAYS OF 93,598, AND TOTAL ER VISITS OF 84,075. COST OF PARTICIPATING IN GOVERNMENT PROGRAMS: OH IS COMMITTED TO SERVING ALL PERSONS IN NEED, REGARDLESS OF RACE, CREED, SEX, NATIONALITY, RELIGION, DISABILITY, AGE OR ABILITY TO PAY. TO PROMOTE ACCESS TO CARE, OH PARTICIPATES IN THE FOLLOWING PUBLIC HEALTH PROGRAMS: MEDICAID, MEDICARE, TRICARE AND LOCAL HEALTH DEPARTMENTS. IN GENERAL, PAYMENTS FROM THESE PROGRAMS FREQUENTLY DO NOT COVER THE COSTS OH INCURS TO SERVE PROGRAM BENEFICIARIES.
