Lexington Rescue Mission exists to serve and glorify God through Christ-centered ministry that meets the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of hurting people in the greater Lexington area.

Outreach Services - In 2019, we served 48,334 meals to hungry men, women and children. We also had 1588 people who came to our walk-in hours for assistance meeting their basic needs, including 1059 people who received clothing, 904 people who received hygiene supplies, 115 people who received transportation assistance, 34 people who obtained birth certificates and/or IDs, 178 people who were assessed and added to the community's waiting list for housing assistance, and 181 people who were connected with our other programs. Through our Homeless Intervention Program, we moved 66 homeless households, including 81 adults and 34 children, into permanent housing. Furthermore, 90 people attended chapel services and 181 people attended Steady Hands, our weekly discipleship group.
