About

In the second part of 2018, IMR's online publication (imrussia.org) continued to publish media reports on the crucial developments in the U.S. and Russian politics. The website also featured several research articles by the prominent Russian activist Vladimir Kara-Murza on the history of Russian parliamentarism in the early 20th century as well as on the parliamentary work of Boris Nemtsov, an opposition leader assassinated in Moscow in 2015. Following the change of leadership in March 2019, IMR has recalibrated its editorial strategy to focus on analysis and long-term trends in Russian politics and U.S.-Russia relations. Since then, the website has published a series of analytical articles, including analyses of the Mueller report and Putin-Trump meeting at G-20, as well as reports on the government's repressions against press freedom and the changing political attitudes, especially among the youth. In the following year, IMR will continue to expand its audience reach, attracting greater publicity and greater public and private support to the cause.
