About this organization
Mission
We exist so that people far from God will be raised to New Life in Christ. It's our goal for people to believe, belong, and become all that God created them to be.
About
New Life Church of God was established as South Harriman Church of God in 1957. The Lord led this new group of believers to convert a former tavern into their church house, and there they worshiped for nearly six decades. Our church family, even in the 1950s took the old and made it new for the glory of God. So it doesn’t surprise us that in 2013, we did it again. We purchased our current facility (a former canoe and kayak manufacturing warehouse) and began to make a new house of worship. Well, God’s not done with us yet. The Bible says in Isiah 43:19 NKJV “Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.” This time, the new thing is us, not a building. In December of 2021, after a year of remarkable growth and restoration (literally and spiritually), we changed our name to NEW LIFE CHURCH, giving credit to God for what he has done within us. For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives.” Romans 6:4 NLT. Join us Sundays at 11am, you too can live a New Life!
