ORCHESTRAL PROGRAMMING PROVIDES 425 STUDENTS IN SEVEN ORCHESTRA DIVISIONS (PRINCIPAL ORCHESTRA, SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA, REPERTORY STRINGS, CHAMBER STRINGS, SILVER STRINGS, ALPHA STRINGS, AND FLUTE CHOIR), BASED UPON THEIR LEVEL, WITH WEEKLY MUSIC INSTRUCTION IN A NURTURING ENVIRONMENT. IN ADDITION, SIX (6) CHAMBER ENSEMBLE GROUPS (AURORA STRINGS, TOP BRASS, IRIDIUM, UPBEAT PERCUSSION, STRINGS OF STEEL AND TROPICAL QUARTET) RECEIVE WEEKLY COACHING SESSIONS AND PREPARATION FOR OUTREACH PERFORMANCES. MUSIC MENTORING IS ALSO OFFERED WEEKLY TO ALL FYO MUSICIANS.
