Mission
Girl Power is a day and after-school social change program designed to promote positive behavior, improve social skills and academic performance in adolescent girls ages 7 to 17. We aim to increase and promote literacy and self-esteem among young and troubled teens in the inner city and improve the behavior, and academic achievement of at-risk middle school girls. Girl Power's mission is to empower girls and their families to succeed in order to protect, restore and preserve the family unit. Our vision is: 'Improving Our World, One Girl At a Time'
