Mission
The El Amor Espera, Inc. is primarily dedicated to promote sexual abstinence to its young people and adults using an educational, health and morale approach and to provide services and professional assistance to domestic violence and crime victims and their families.
About
The El Amor Espera, Inc. programs were able to comply with its main mission through the 2016 FY. The tutorial services at e-library, computers laboratory, web browsing and supervised school homework sessions young participants were more effective at school work. We continued with the Arts Program and provided music, dance and drama lessons to young participants, ages 5 to 24. In the domestic violence and crime victims program each continued to support victims and their families via its therapeutic and professional services of psychologists, case managers and social workers. The participants received direct services individually and in groups, in the areas of self esteem, behaviour modification, sexual abstinence, crisis management & restoration. The programs achieved similar number of participants to its sessions with professional case managers, social workers and psychologists with approximately 375 in the youth programs and other services programs attended to 80 participants. The El Amor Espera, Inc. continues to strive through financial constraints. In spite of this situation it continues to provide the much needed services to its young participants and domestic violence and crime victims and their families.
