The center has always provided numerous after school programs for kindergarten through high school. The programs are designed to develop self esteem and academic success through tutoring, mentoring, enrichment activities and sporting activities. Family involvment is encouraged to provide support, strengthen family interaction and prevent neglect. In 2011, the local school recieved a grant to provide similar programs. The Board chose to continue to provide sports activities, while the school provided tutoring and enrichment activities under their grant.
