About this organization
Mission
To improve the quality of life of shelter animals and companion animals of low income families by providing affordable veterinary care, and to help reduce the homeless pet population through spay/neuter programs.
About
We provide low-cost spay and neuter services to low income individuals as well as animal rescue organizations in central Ohio. In addition to spay and neuter services, we also provide low-cost veterinary services such as vaccinations and treatments at the time of surgery to the animals in our care. In 2018, the team at SOS-OH served 15,738 animals. Trap-neuter-return takes into account each cat's level (or degree) of socialization to determine the best environment for them. Feral cats are returned to their outdoor home after being trapped and neutered. Socialized cats and kittens can be adopted into homes.
