WWAV provides peer directed groups that give emotional support for women living with HIV/ AIDS, their families and social networks. WWAV fights for drug policy grounded in science, compassion, health and human rights.Our research delves into the legality of syringe possession as a means of prevention of blood born diseases and the necessity of the Syringe Access programs in combating HIV/AIDS WWAV launched a new program on domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault and stalking for African American women and LBTQ women in New Orleans.
