Client Services:Free, long term mental health counseling for victims and their families, victim advocacy and long term case management (hospital accompaniment, court room advocacy and emotional support, transportation, translation services, and emergency clothing after an sexual assault forensic exam), telephone crisis intervention including the Prison Rape Elimination Act crisis line, and free after care medical clinic for medical follow up after a sexual assault forensic exam. The counseling program provided free mental health counselling to 3,354 clients, of the 3,354 seen, 811 qualified for an assessment, of those, 586 demonstrated an improved score. As a result 80% demonstrated an positive outcome. This program also offers support groups for men, women, teens, and in Spanish, and play and art therapy. 19,405 contacted the hotline, 4000 of which were incarcerated survivors, all 19, 405 were assessed for an outcome. Advocates provided hospital accompaniment to 811 clients, of which 48% agreed to a follow up call, of those contacted 70% demonstrated a positive outcome. Advocates provided case management services to 276 clients for more than 30 days. Specialized Advocates who focus on child sexual exploitation, adult sex trafficking, and adult and child labor trafficking provided advocacy to 130 victims of human trafficking. Monarch Project: the Monarch Project is a free after care clinic for survivors who need follow up medical care after the sexual assault forensic exam. To date we have had 99 referrals and provided care to 29 clients. Of special note, we have seen a 50-58% decrease in trauma-based symptoms such as improved sleep, decreased anxiety, and increased support system use/access with intervention and follow up within the patient population seen.Our volunteer program increased the amount of outreach across the city, as such we have 12 new volunteers who provided almost 3000 hours of service to RCC.
