Mission
9Health Fair advances health awareness, providing people with the tools they need to take responsibility for their own health. 9Health has been a trusted partner in health education in Colorado for over 40 years. Our 9Health Neighbors program, eTools on our website, relevant health education, media content, and 9Health fairs guide people in making good health decisions. We partner with Covid Check Colorado to provide free Covid testing. We are working with CDPHE to distribute Covid vaccines to underserved communities in Denver. Safeway/Albertsons is our clinical partner. 9News is a media partner. With thousands of local community volunteers and the support of civic organizations like Rotary and The Lions Club, 9Health is able to reach into communities that have the most need.

In the Community: For 40-years, 9Health has been providing low-cost and free health screenings, education and follow-up resources to over 45,000 participants statewide. 2,200 critical and alert calls are made within 72-hours of screening to participants whose lab values return with a critical or alert value needing immediate follow-up with a healthcare provider. Notably, 30% of participants had an out-of-range A1c prediabetes screening, 10% were for out of range PSA, 66% were for out of range LDL Cholesterol and 23% were for out of range Triglycerides. (Continued on Schedule O)26% had out-range Blood Pressure values. Lung Function screening resulted in 22% participants recommended for further evaluation and 46% who took advantage of "Ask A Medical Professional" were advised to seek further medical evaluation. 9Health leverages its media relationship with 9News to bring health education media to thousands of people utilizing multiple social media channels, including Facebook Live. 9Health has embarked on a new strategic direction to provide tools, resources and next-step actions to optimize preventative health; becoming a year-round prevention partner to our community. 9Health is making significant internally-funded financial investments to develop these new services. 9Health is a 501(c)3 charitable organization that depends upon community and foundation support to continue its work throughout the state.
