Mission

Providence Network is an urban, transformational housing organization that helps impoverished men, women and families heal from addictions, abuse and homelessness to become self-sufficient, thriving members of the community. We achieve this through a living-in-community model that includes a two-year 'FirstStep' transitional housing program of individual counseling, group therapy, vocational assistance, life skills development, sobriety support, spiritual growth, and accountability with 24/7 live-in staff. Graduates are able to continue their growth in our 'NextStep' drug and alcohol-free affordable apartment communities.

About

The organization operates six transformational housing properties in Denver, Colorado. This includes three level 1 'FirstStep' transitional homes and three level 2 'NextStep' communities. Supportive services are provided to individuals and families in transition who are recovering from addictions, domestic violence and/or homelessness. The FirstStep program provides subsidized housing, food, counseling, support groups, life skills development, employment training, and healthy social activities. The NextStep communities offer affordable rents in a healthy, sober living environment with access to supportive services as needed. On any given day, our six homes can serve up to 160 people. In 2018/19 we served a total of 184.
