To advance the Far West Texas and Southern New Mexico trauma and emergency healthcare system through prevention, education, preparedness and response.

About

Developed and maintained the regional emergency response system to advance the quality of emergency healthcare in West Texas and Southern New Mexico through system-wide performance improvement. Maintained systems of care addressing trauma, cardiac, stroke, behavioral health, neonatal and maternal care, and disaster preparedness. Provided professional education on trends in medical care for the systems of care. Coordinated the regional healthcare coalition and respond to disasters throughout the region providing regional medical operations, mobile medical care, and regional response. Provided community education about safety & trauma prevention including the use of bicycles, skateboards, & car seats as well as conducted community prevention programs for stroke, heart attack, senior falls, traumatic injuries & underage anti-drinking.
