Mission

THE MAGDALEN HOUSE MISSION STATEMENT: To help women achieve sobriety and sustain recovery from alcoholism at no cost and based on 12-Step spiritual principles. THE MAGDALEN HOUSE VISION STATEMENT: To create and build a thriving community for recovered women and their families – one woman at a time. We serve women primarily in the North Texas area, but will accept referrals from anywhere in the United States.

About

Social Detox - The Social Detox Program provides a safe and comfortable setting for an alcoholic woman to physically separate from alcohol while being immersed in support and education from recovered women so that she may learn about alcoholism and begin practicing 12-Step spiritual principles to achieve sobriety. In 2018, we admitted 325 women to our Social Detox Program, 74% of whom successfully completed the program. Volunteer Program Coordinators (overnight volunteers) donated 6,152 hours to our Social Detox Program, with 82% of those volunteer hours coming from Social Detox alumnae.
