More about this organization

Mission

The Organization offers home repair services for low income, elderly and disabled homeowners in Ector County through their workdays and emergency repairs. A total of 286 family homes were served during the year.

About

Workday expenditures are completed by volunteers and are large scale repairs that may take several days to complete. Repairs include re-roofing, door and window replacements, new locks for safety, plumbing, gas lines, and electrical. Many homes need updating to help with homeowners disabilities. These repairs improve the quality of life of the homeowner and help them to maintain their independences. April is the awareness month for this program and for people to serve. 64 homes were repaired during those workdays. We had 1,753 volunteers making up 61 teams.
