About
CENTEX CHILDCARE,Inc.offers a safe living environment for abused and/or neglected children thru it's emergency shelter. These children have developed significant emotional problems perhaps accompanied by one or more disabling physical problems. Generally, children have been placed into our care because they were endangered with their biological families. These children have developed their understanding of life based on these experiences and reacted accordingly. These young people need a safe place to live for a while, often not realizing at first that relationships can be different from those which they have experienced. Children come to us hurt and afraid. They leave knowing that there are many resources they can call upon. Our mission is to heal and empower the clients trusted to our care.
