Below is a list of a few program accomplishments for July 2018 - June 2019: - BVAL serves over 4,000 student-athletes of twenty-four public high school athletic programs for both boys and girls for eighteen competitive sports during the fall, winter, spring each school year. - Held finals/playoffs/play-in games for badminton, cross country, field hockey, tennis, & water polo - Held four football jamborees with twenty-four high schools participating where officials learn and implement new rules and officiate games - Held six pre-season coaches meetings where coaches were given the rules, regulations, bylaws and schedules for their specific sport season. Outlined the expectations of educationally based athletics. - Held five athletic director meetings where we discussed rules, regulations, state expectations and requirements - Met monthly with the BVAL executive board to go over financial reports, income, profit, loss statements. Make rules, policies, discussed fundraising, how to cut costs/expenses - Creation of new leagues for developing sports of lacrosse and competitive sport cheer.
